Registration is open for Autism Ontario’s FREE Understanding Government of Canada Disability Programs and Services for Children and Youth (Under 18) information session, on Thursday, September 24 from 12 – 1:30 p.m.
This session is hosted by Service Canada, Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).
Topics Discussed:
- Service Canada will provide an overview of the new Canada Disability Benefit, including how to apply, eligibility criteria and when to apply for the benefit.
- CRA will provide information on the Disability Tax Credit, how to apply, and how to access the associated benefits and credits for persons with disabilities and their families.
- ESDC will share information on the Registered Disability Savings Plan (RDSP), which supports persons with disabilities to save for their future.
This webinar is designed for parents, caregivers, educators, and professionals looking for neurodiversity-affirming approaches to support autistic learners at school and at home.
