🎃ldao-c Sensory Friendly Halloween Party

Many neurodivergent children struggle with overstimulation at parties, or with the unspoken social rules around parties. We are hosting a sensory friendly party that will also provide an opportunity for children to learn social rules in a fun environment. Spaces are limited. To register contact programs@ldaottawa.com. Cost is $20.00 which helps cover the cost of treats/prizes and snacks. Most suited for ages 9-12. Date: Saturday, Oct. 26 at their new Learning Centre on Merivale Road.

🎳Adult Bowling Night

This event engages autistic adults 18+ who do not require 1:1 support (individual support is not provided, one staff will be present to sign participants in and stay for the duration of the event.)

This exists to build friendships and a sense of community for adults on the spectrum.

Bowling at Merivale Bowling Centre and meet some new friends while you play. Fun for the whole family and a chance to connect with others in the region!

Registration includes 1 or 2 games of bowling plus shoe rental and pizza (2 slices) with friends.
