Join Housing Navigators from Developmental Services Ontario Eastern Region (DSOER) and Developmental Services Ontario South East Region (DSOSER) for an in-person workshop to review and complete the My Housing and Support Plan.
The session will take place on Saturday, April 18 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Unit 103A, 1400 St. Laurent Blvd, in Ottawa. It is open to people with developmental disabilities, and their family members or support networks, living in the east region.
Topics include:
- Creating your vision, and learning from others
- Discovering your strengths and needs
- Creating a record of your support needs
- Investigating how technology can increase independence, and fill gaps to independent living
- Build on natural supports and create community circles
Please note: Attendees are asked to bring a lunch, and their laptop or tablet to the session.
