Camp Summary

A fun camp where Tier 1 ASD/ADHD Teens ages 12-17 will learn the Social& Life Skills needed to be more independent, and make new friends.
Lessons revolve around fun outings.

Skills we cover:
• Learning to use public transit, and Petro Pass, OC Transpo Planner, Google Maps, Bus Passes, how to ride a bus
How to pay using either tickets/pass/presto or transfer.
• Planning the bus route for the day or week
• Emergency situations: Missed stops, If a student gets lost, Location of Yellow call boxes
• What to do if left alone on the bus or left alone at a stop
• Where to sit on the bus
• Who not to sit next to
• What to do w/ backpacks
• Losing tickets and transfers

Ravens Adapted Multisport Camp Ages 8-18 | Carleton Athletics

Inclusion/ Additional Support:
The Ravens Adaptive Multisport Camp is a fun five-day camp tailored to children and youth ages 8 to 18 with physical disabilities.
• Campers can participate in a group environment with a 3:1 ratio (campers to staff).
• Campers who require 1:1 support will need their own personal support worker to accompany them.
• Campers can communicate their needs verbally or with a communication device. Campers must be able to provide a consistent YES/NO response.
• Assistance with toileting can be provided by a trained staff member. Please indicate this need when registering.
• Assistance with feeding can be provided by a trained staff member: Please indicate this need when registering.

Camp Summary

The Ravens Adaptive Multisport Camp is a fun five-day camp tailored to children and youth ages 8 to 18 with physical disabilities. It will offer a range of indoor and outdoor activities where campers will have an opportunity to participate in a variety of different sports which may include; wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby, boccia ball, kinball, wheelchair tennis/pickleball, and other fun games. Our trained and experienced staff will ensure that all sports and activities occur in a positive, safe and inclusive environment.

Camp Summary

Tennis-Each day your child will learn a new sport in a fun and structured setting, indoors and outdoors.

Multi-Sports-Campers will learn different forms of acting, such as improv and theatre as well as a variety of dance styles

Drama & Dance-Campers receive guidance, inspiration and most importantly lots of fun arts and crafts supplies to create their masterpieces.

Half Day Tennis- A wide range of on-field, football-specific training will surely give them the experience they need! Two and a half hours of tennis, new sports, and a snack break will be the structure of the morning.

Cheerleading- This camp combines basic stunting, dance, jumps and gymnastics to teach your camper the fundamentals of cheerleading.

Leader Training- 15 or 16 year olds can come back to camp and assist the instructors with the day to day operations.
