Roommates to Independence

Housing Navigators spoke with Alexa and Kelly. These two ladies moved into a new building in Ottawa a couple of months ago after living together for 10 years as housemates in a home that their parents had created. The option to move into this new building was made possible by the City of Ottawa and Ottawa Community Housing, who gave priority for 10 people with a developmental disability who qualified the opportunity to have their own lease and live in this beautiful new building.
