Community Living Ontario is accepting applications for their first-ever Family Conference, happening May 31 – June 1, 2025!

With simultaneous in-person gatherings and virtual connections across six locations in Ontario, this is a one-of-a-kind event you and your family members won’t want to miss.
Who can apply? Families in Ontario with children who have disabilities.

This inaugural family conference will be instrumental in fostering communication and collaboration among family members across Ontario. Families will have a platform to engage in open discussions, share experiences, and collaborate on solutions to common issues that parents of children who have disabilities often face. Selected applicants will “pay-what-they-can” to attend this two-day conference, listen to other parents and keynote speakers, and participate in group activities designed to enhance family dynamics and communication.

Transition Planning Resource Fair For Youth With Intellectual Disabilities

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board (OCDSB), in partnership with the Ottawa Catholic Schools (OCSB), invites youth with intellectual disabilities and their parents/caregivers to explore ways to navigate life after high school. OCL will have a booth set up with information about our Day Program, Moving on Out Program and Supported Independent Living Program. Please help spread the word about this informative event.
