Jennifer Ellis

Joined the SCS Board of Directors in 2021

Jennifer Ellis RN, PhD is Director of Quality and Safety at CHEO, where she has oversight for safety, clinical risk, patient experience, infection prevention and control and environmental services. Jennifer is an experienced administrator who has worked in health care, policy, research and quality improvement. Jennifer is a registered nurse with a PhD in Nursing, a graduate diploma in health policy and research and as well as a graduate certificate in health law. She has expertise in safety, governance, quality improvement, risk management and health policy. She advocates for a fantastic client experience and high quality health services that “we all want for our loved ones”. Jennifer is a mother of a youth with complex needs and lives in Ottawa with her husband and three children.
