Understanding what is available, accessing resources, and managing relationships within school boards is challenging for even the most engaged and knowledgeable students and caregivers.
PooranLaw and Community Living Ontario have partnered to create Strategies for Success: Navigating Special Education in Ontario, a comprehensive online resource that will be published during Inclusive Education Month in February. It brings together relevant special education legislation in Ontario, including regulations, and policies, and offers a range of information and strategies regarding accommodations and supports, human rights, Identification, Placement, and Review Committees (IPRCs), appeals, exclusions, student discipline, and more.
